Surely, you have seen by now the accident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway that took the life of Dan Wheldon over the weekend. As I saw it for about the fifth time, I started to watch what was happening away from the airborne vehicle that carried Dan Wheldon to his death. Frankly, I am still astonished that only one driver died in that accident.
RIP, Dan Wheldon.
If you watched the Dolphins/Jets snorefest last night on MNF, perhaps you will agree with some of the conclusions I drew:
If Brandon Merriweather is going to run his mouth before a game, he cannot drop passes that hit him in the hands in the end zone.
Darrelle Revis is an excellent cornerback and he gets “star treatment” from the officials almost as if he were in the NBA. On every replay I saw, Revis made “illegal contact” more than 5 yards down from the line of scrimmage and never drew a flag.
The Dolphins will be “scoring challenged” until and unless whoever plays QB can find open receivers and not just throw the ball ...
