Robert Griffin III’s magical touch seems to be limitless. Not only did the quarterback lead the Washington Redskins to a win over the New York Giants on Monday night, but he also was on hand in D.C. when the Washington Wizards beat the Miami Heat for their second win of the season on Tuesday. RG3 was shown on the jumbotron inside the arena and was one of the focuses of the evening. He received a handshake and special recognition from LeBron James after the game. He also did an interview with CSN Washington where he said he was trying to convert LeBron, a noted Dallas Cowboys fan, into a ‘Skins fan. “He is a big Cowboys fan, but hopefully we can convert him,” Griffin said of James. James is one of several notable athletes who have been rightfully impressed with Griffin. He said the Redskins got it right by trading so many picks in order to draft RG3, which is what prompted Griffin’s remark about converting him. LeBron likely won’t ditch the Cowboys (he’s also a Yankees and Ohio State fan), but that doesn’t mean he can’t show tremendous respect to his fellow baller.
