Houston Rockets guard Carlos Delfino got off to a nice start to the postseason before being sidelined for the remainder of the playoffs due to a foot injury. The ailment was ultimately diagnosed as a fractured bone in Delfino's foot, and it was expected to require surgery. It appears that Delfino has since undergone said procedure to repair the fracture, and it is expected to keep him sidelined for the next four to six months. This news means that the guard is at risk of missing the start of training camp, but assuming no setbacks he should return in time to start the season healthy.Howard Chen of CSN Houston reported the news earlier this month, noting the pending procedure and expected recovery time.Delfino says he's expected out 4-6 months. Surgery next week. Tough to sit out, but he says he'll now be Rockets #1 fan. #RedNation— Howard Chen (@ho_chenCSN) May 4, 2013 Follow @hoopsinjurynews

Houston also might be the best basketball destination for him, so I wouldn’t be shocked if he signed there. The Rockets...
