The 6-foot-9, 235-pound Morris was the 14th overall pick in the draft out of Kansas. Morris was last season's Big 12 Player of the Year as a junior. He left school ranking 25th on its career scoring list (1,371 points), 16th in rebounds (676) and ninth in double-doubles (19). Golden State waived the 6-3 Lin on Friday after he played in 29 games as a rookie last season. Lin originally signed with Golden State in July 2010 as an undrafted free agent out of Harvard.
