Former Rice University quarterback Tobin Rote, who led the Owls to a top-five national finish and a Cotton Bowl championship, is one of ten sports legends who have been selected as members of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2011 presented by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Companies. The announcement was made Texas Football Magazine founder Dave Campbell, the chairman of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame Induction Committee.
