Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman hosted his annual charity softball game today. He also made a move that is probably similar to kicking a Packers fan in the shin. Among other umpires was the ‘fail mary’, ‘shameful’, ‘Seattle Screwjob’ culprit, Lance Easley. He was one of the replacement referees in the 2012-2013 season during the NFL referee lockout. It is noted that the lockout ended shortly after the horrific call that was made in favor of Seattle WR Golden Tate as time expired to rob Green Bay out of a victory.
Lawyer Milloy is responsible for posting a picture via Instagram of Easley smiling with Golden Tate while giving the TD sign. He also sported an NFL referee uniform for the softball game. I also hear that good ol’ Easley is releasing a book titled “Making the Call.” Seems a little harsh that this replacement ref is bringing in bank off of the broken hearts of Packers fans everywhere. I do however, get a kick out of these antics put on by Sherman. Perhaps with the new season not in progress quite yet suggests that this was a bit too soon though Richard.
