How many times have we seen this? Newly acquired Philadelphia Sixers Andrew Bynum, obtained through the blockbuster trade that had sent Howard to the Lakers and shook up the NBA, is expected to out until January at the earliest. Bynum is recovering bone bruise in his right knee (surprise). From the LA Times:Philadelphia said Monday that the new goal was for Bynum to resume “normal basketball activity” around Dec. 10. He would then need three to four weeks of conditioning and practice before he can play in his first game for the 76ers.Bynum was dominant last year and emerged as a candidate for the number two center in the league. Previously the only thing that seemed to be holding him back was injuries, as he's had a history of missing a good chunk of the season recovering, typically from an injury to his knees. It seems as though the bug has caught Bynum once again, and he could be out for a lot longer than Sixers fans had hoped. Lakers fans would see this as a normality, the fans of Philadelphia are just getting their first taste.Bynum has yet to done a Sixers uniform in a game, in scrimmage, preseason or regular season.Follow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.nbainjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-34100676-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ?
