Via EDSBSThe Houston Cougars got a new logo today and it was… interesting. The Cougar looks pretty angry. This design is probably to strike fear into the hearts of their opponents. It also kind of looks like a Thundercat from the TV series Thundercats. Hopefully this was intentional because it is totally awesome.
The Houston Cougars are changing things up and have picked a new logo, one that strongly resembles an animated cartoon.
The Houston Cougars are placing a heavy emphasis on recruiting Louisiana prospects. Trevon Stewart (Patterson), Jontrey Tillman (West St. Mary) and Bryan "B.J." Singleton (Destrehan) all signed with the Cougars this year, and Houston recruiter Brandon Middleton has his eye on several Louisiana '13 prospects, including Scotlandville DT Tanzel Smart.
