Going into the season, nobody could’ve expected the output waiver wire pickup-turned-NL Rookie of the Year candidate Casey McGehee has given the first place Milwaukee Brewers so far. Only by way of a season-ending injury to Rickie Weeks, a series of ineffective or inexperienced platooned infielders ahead of him and taking advantage of every opportunity thrown his way has McGehee made his presence known both in Milwaukee and aroudn the league. No one could’ve expected it.
But I was the only one who emphatically and insultingly insisted nothing should be expected from Casey McGehee. And I totally suck.
To be fair, it could have been any out of shape and sparsely-known newbie in spring training to be deemed the bane of my 2009 Brewers roster. Far...
