M. Golf. Current Spartans Top Alumni in Green and White Exhibition

The Michigan State men's golf program held the Green and White Alumni Exhibition match on Saturday afternoon at the Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas. The current Spartans shot a 293 to beat the alumni team by eight shots. Senior Chris Mory led the current team with a 1-under par 70, while Jack Newman paced the alumni squad with a 6-under par 65.

Michigan State women top No. 17 Purdue 67-52 in OT (AP)

Becca Mills scored 17 points and Michigan State beat No. 17 Purdue 67-52 in overtime Sunday. Lykendra Johnson had 15 points, 13 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Spartans (17-10, 9-5 Big Ten), who scored the first 11 points in overtime and outscored the Boilermakers 18-3 in the extra five minutes.
