Earlier today on ESPN’s First Take, the crew got into a round-table discussion about the top quarterback in college football next season. The conversation was basically started around Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M, last year’s Heisman Trophy winner, being ranked behind Teddy Bridgewater on Mel Kiper’s Big Board. For whatever reason, the folks at ESPN thought it would be wise to call on Stephan A. Smith to get his opinion on the situation. Without actually calling Bridgewater overrated, Smith called him overrated. He’s not very impressed with Teddy Heisman to say the least. Just from my eye, I saw him two games this year and he won both of them, Cincinnati and Temple. What do ya want, a cookie? I’m just not sold. I look at him and I get it. 3,718 yards passing, 27 touchdowns passing, completed about 68% of his passes, I get it. But I’m a big dude on schedule.
