BEST OF MAXIM
As I argued on Tuesday, what’s the point in being resistant to the fact that this is Kate Upton’s world and we simply are living in it. And by “living in it,” I of course mean that we are all like lemmings, unable to avoid the lure of the next batch of Kate Upton photos or her latest video or whatever. But instead of perilously leaping off a cliff like the aforementioned...
Thanks to Jimmy Traina’s Hot Clicks, we have this delightful image of Kate Upton before the rest of them show up on the Internets around 3pm pst today. She seems to “still have it.”

Becoming the first model since Tyra Banks to appear on the periodical’s cover in consecutive years, top-heavy sexpot Kate Upton is again featured on the front of the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Despite being one of the most exquisite … Continue reading →
Record deal for Felix
Last Thursday afternoon, word came across the media wires that “King” Felix Hernandez would become MLB’s all time highest paid pitcher, inking a contract of $175 million over the course of seven years (technically it was a five year / $135mil extension).
That breaks down to $154,320.99 for each game of the season.
Now considering where the Seattle Mariners...
Despite some snags in the recent days, the Seattle Mariners and SP Felix Hernandez have reached a deal on his new contract worth a reported $175 million dollars. The two parties will hold a news conference on Wednesday to announce the deal making Hernandez the highest paid pitcher in Major League Baseball.
As originally reported last week, Hernandez’s deal rolls the last two years...
Skullcandy, Big Boi, Stevie Johnson, Electronic Arts, and Kate Upton have all joined forces on this episode of “Take A Supermodel To Work Day”. Poor Kate is brought into the studio to learn all about music producing but Big Boi and Stevie are too busy playing video games to take much notice of her.
Obviously, this is a work of fiction in the most extreme sense.
Felix Hernandez has officially agreed to a record contract extension with the Mariners that will keep him in Seattle through (at least) the end of the 2019 season. We take a look at the face of the M's franchise.
It appeared as if Felix Hernandez was set to become the highest paid pitcher in all of baseball just a few days ago, but that has been put on hold due to an “elbow issue.” The Seattle Mariners had reportedly agreed to a seven-year, $175 million contract extension with King Felix on Thursday, giving him a huge bump in pay from the 5-year, $78 million extension the two sides agreed...
It’s a repeat for Kate Upton.
The 20-year-old model is gracing the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue for the second consecutive year. The location for the 2013 cover shot was a bit different than the previous year, though — Upton traded Australia for Antarctica this time.
This is also a milestone for the issue itself, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary...
The St. Louis Cardinals enter spring training this week with another star player entering the final year of his contract just two years after the Albert Pujols contract circus. But the Cardinals suddenly have leverage in these negotiations they never got with Pujols.
Adam Wainwright will be a free agent at the end of the season if he and the Cardinals can’t agree on a long-term...
Mariners fans, don’t make plans for the ticker tape parade just yet. According to both USA Today and ESPN, not only is Felix Hernandez’ five-year extension not yet done, it may be because of a concern over King Felix’ elbow, in which case it may not get done for awhile. Actually, the contract [...]
