Tim Tebow was limited in practice again with two broken ribs, leaving the New York Jets backup quarterback's status uncertain for the team's game Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Rex Ryan says Thursday that the Jets will continue to ''monitor his situation.'' Tebow was injured at Seattle on Nov. 11, played three offensive snaps the following week at St. Louis and was active but didn't play last Thursday against New England. Greg McElroy would be the backup to Mark Sanchez if Tebow can't go. Wide receiver Clyde Gates did not practice because of a concussion suffered against the Patriots. Safety LaRon Landry received his regularly scheduled day off. Cornerback Aaron Berry (quadriceps), right guard Brandon Moore (hip), nose tackle Sione Pouha (back) and linebacker Ricky Sapp (ankle) were limited.

LT has some sage advice for Tebow

Lawrence Taylor made an appearance on Wednesday's Inside the NFL and he had some unique advice for Jets QB Tim Tebow on how to make it in The Big Apple.

The New York Jets cannot score on offense. They have to start Tim Tebow if they want to win. Week 6 Preview.

Tim Tebow is the Jets only chance at winning. I've been calling for Tebow to start for New York since they traded for him. In other articles I've noted the lack of talent on offense and less than dominate defense as reasons to start Tebow. This was all before Holmes and Revis went down. The bottom line is that teams that lack offensive talent run option offenses. You...

Lawrence Taylor offers some words of advice for Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow is a lot of things. He is a devout Christian. He is a Heisman Trophy winner. He is a marketing gimmick, and most importantly he’s a lightning rod for football fans of every ilk, mostly because he’s terrible at playing quarterback. And with this lightning rod status, everyone has an opinion. The latest [...]

Run, Tim, Run! Tebow To Play Running Back for New York

The Tim Tebow saga has been one of the interesting stories in NFL history. When Tebow was drafted by the Broncos in the first round of the 2010, there were questions as to whether he could actually be a successful NFL quarterback. Although he had an agglomeration of collegiate accolades, he lacked the proper technique and mechanics needed to be a starter in the NFL. Many people...

The Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow, Since The Breakup

In 2011 under a majority of games with Tim Tebow as the starter the Bronco’s offense averaged 316.6 yards and 19.3 points a game. In 2012 under the Peyton Manning regime the Bronco offense is among the league’s best averaging 388.4 yards and 27 points a game.Despite the contrast in offensive output the Tebow led Broncos looked more like a winning team then does an almost identical...

Sometimes Las Vegas gets it completely wrong. Right now, as of the typing of this article, the New York Jets are favored by three points over the Indianapolis Colts in the upcoming clash at the New Meadowlands. Then again, point spreads are usually indicative of "betting trends". Leading me to believe that Vegas, in its infinite wisdom, expects people to put their hard...
