Passed over in the NFL draft following a troubled college career, Tennessee Tech receiver Da'Rick Rogers has agreed to sign with Buffalo Bills. Rogers' agent Joby Branion, on Sunday, confirmed his client agreed to terms with Buffalo. The player announced the news a day earlier by writing, ''I'm a Buffalo Bill,'' on his Twitter account. Projected by some to be a third-round draft selection, Rogers' stock dropped because of off-the-field issues during his first two seasons at Tennessee. He transferred to Tennessee Tech in August shortly after being suspended indefinitely by the Volunteers for violating team rules. Rogers said multiple failed drug tests prompted his move to the Football Championship Subdivision. Last year, Rogers had 893 yards receiving and tied a Tennessee Tech single-season record with 10 touchdown catches.

One of the most underrated post draft activities is the chase for undrafted free agents. Teams can find diamonds in the rough by combing though their draft boards and finding out who is left. Bills select versatile ILB Kiko Alonso from Oregon

After trading down in the first round with the St. Louis Rams, the Buffalo Bills used of the four picks they received, the16th pick in the second round (46th overall), to select the versatile ILB from Oregon, Kiko Alonso. Alonso is versatile enough to play either play inside or outside depending style of defensive scheme. Figures to be an inside linebacker for a 3-4, and outside...

Buffalo Bills sign CB Vernon Kearney of Lane College

Today the news just kept getting better.  Vernon Kearney is one of my top rated cornerbacks in the small schools because of his long length and speed.  The former Lane College standout played under Derrick Burroughs the former first rounder of the Buffalo Bills.  Kearney was able to get into a couple All Star games and showcase his talents.  After getting into the games, he didn’t...

Linebacker Keith Pough Signed by the Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills have signed, undrafted Howard linebacker, Keith Pough. Keith was a four-year starter for Howard and ended his career with the most TFL in FCS history. He is not the fastest (4.87 40 time) guy on the field by any stretch but gives you max effort and will not give up on a play. He is most likely being brought in to compete for a reserve role and play special teams...

With members of the Buffalo Bills hierarchy expecting the rookie to compete in 2013, E.J. Manuel may get maimed in Orchard Park this autumn

Sounding ******* crazy, members of the Buffalo Bills hierarchy expect raw rookie E.J. Manuel to compete with Kevin Kolb to become the team’s starting quarterback in 2013. The 23-year-old Manuel, drafted by Buffalo 16th overall out of Florida State on Thursday, is brimming with potential. However, the 2013 Senior Bowl MVP and 2012 second team All-ACC selection is nowhere near ready...

Fantasy Impact: EJ Manuel

I’m an impressive guy Juan… The Bills went into this draft with EJ firmly placed in their sights.  While most thought they would go with Geno or Nassib early, they moved down in the first and still got their guy.  Manuel is an intriguing guy from a fantasy standpoint based on the fact that he can run and sling the rock.  He is a project a la Kaepernick and may take some time...

Bills add undrafted wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers

The Buffalo Bills were quick to pounce on undrafted free agent Da’Rick Rogers. Rogers spent last season at Tennessee Tech grabbing 67 passes for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns. Rogers ran a 4.52 forty and posted the second best broad jump among receivers but concerns about his off field antics left him out of the draft. Before attending Tennessee Tech the 20-year-old played for...
