Terence Newman to host benefit

It's last minute, but cornerback Terence Newman will host his second annual Night of Stars and Steaks at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine tonight. Newman will be joined by several teammates and conduct a meet and greet with current and former players to rise money for his Rising Stars Foundation. Some of the proceeds from the event will go to help cover the medical costs of Pinkston High's Jared Williams, who was left paralyzed after suffering an injury in a game earlier this season. "I was devastated to hear about Jared's injury," said Newman, "but I have had the opportunity to speak with him, and he has a great attitude.
