Last week, reports surfaced that Patrick Ewing turned down an offer to coach the Knicks’ D-League team. ”Patrick has paid his dues,” a source told ESPN NY. “He was a little insulted.” Ewing has been an assistant coach for eight seasons, with the Washington Wizards, Houston Rockets and, most recently, the Orlando Magic.
