Let's get going!Solomon Jones On the PacersFor my amusement, I went over to Indy Cornrows and checked out how they were doing. And by the way, thanks for adding my blog to your blogroll IC, I appreciate it very much! Anyways, it was shown that the Pacers have already signed Solomon Jones? Take a look:Jeff Rabjohns reports that the Pacers have agreed to a 2-year deal with former Atlanta big, Solomon Jones. Jones just turned 25 and will be heading into his fourth NBA season spending the previous three scrounging minutes off the bench. At 6'10" with a 7'4" wingspan, Jones definitely has the goods to turn shots away around the rim, but don't expect much impact at the other end of the floor. With the Pacers due for a rags to riches miracle, it would be nice if Jones developed into a stronger presence than anticipated, but planning on divine intervention in July is useless.Check out more of this entertaining and interesting article here.Pacers Exit the "Tinsley Bear Trap"The good guys at EPNS talked about the Jamaal Tinsley Bear Trap. Here's a sneak preview:They finally did it. The Pacers finally "freed" themselves of the steel bear trap that is Jamaal Tinsley's contract. They spent more than a year desperately trying to find a trading partner for the mercurial point guard, but to no avail. So, with an arbitration hearing to formally resolve the issue less than a week away, Indiana's leadership elected to be done with the matter once and for all.
