Alfred Morris -- He ran well early and kept the Redskins in the game by getting them out of bad field position and consistently moving the chains enough to put the Falcons in bad field position throughout the first half. Morris finished with 115 yards on 19 carries [6.1 ypc]. That's the rookie's second straight game with at least 100 rushing yards, though he did not score a touchdown in this game. I had Morris with about 55 yards after contact, which shows how hard he runs, but considering he got about 60 yards before contact, it's pretty obviously the Redskins offensive line was doing some nice blocking today.
Redskins linebackers -- ILB London Fletcher led everyone with 18 tackles, 14 of them solo and he was critical in holding Falcons runners to under 80 yards on the ground today. ILB Perry Riley added 10 tackles, 7 of them solo, and recovered a Matt Ryan fumble. Last, but definitely not least, OLB Ryan Ke...

The Redskins' running back Ryan Grant will be active for Week 5, but you can't expect mush in the way of production.Fantasy Spin:Grant will play a backup role to Alfred Morris who has been a great fantasy option this season. That doesn't figure to change.
Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon (foot) is expected to play on Sunday, but he did say "it's going to take some time" until he's back to full capacity.Fantasy Spin:Garcon only caught one pass in Week 4, but he did recover a fumble for a touchdown. When Garcon is healthy his status as Robert Griffin III's favorite target makes him a strong WR2, but it could be...

Washington quarterback rookie Robert Griffin III walked to the locker room after taking a hit from Falcons LB Sean Weatherspoon in the third quarter. He was being checked for a concussion.Fantasy Spin:Griffin's return is questionable. He's been a top-tier fantasy quarterback over the first four games. Kirk Cousins, another rookie, took over controls of the Redskins offense.
Injured Washington Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather will be sidelined for an estimated four additional weeks after the latest setback to his injured left knee, Coach Mike Shanahan said Monday.
Id say its going to take Brandon in the area of four weeks before he comes back, Shanahan said. Thats just guessing. Thats what our doctors think right now, looking at his...
