Listen in to this week’s Thursday Night Tailgate to hear great stories told by: former Giants FB and board member of the NFL Alumni Association Randy Minniear, sports columnist Bob Lazzari, former Notre Dame & Colts LB Devon McDonald, former Pitt and Saints Super Bowl Champion TE Darnell Dinkins, and former Raiders & Lions QB Rusty Hilger.

Randy shared great details about the programs the NFL Alumni Association has in place to assist the former players and children’s charities around the country. Devon told us the problem at Notre Dame is a lack of leadership. He also shared how hard Jimmy Johnson recruited him and what it was like to win the last National Championship at Notre Dame. Darnell shared his stories about what it was like playing for Sean Payton both in New Orleans and when Payton was an Offensive Assistant with the Giants. He also talked Tough Guy University and how he and former Saints teammate Phil Clarke are trying to help young student athletes understand the recruiting process. Rusty sucked the oxygen out of the room as he shared stories about Al Davis, Lyle Alzado and what it was like being a Raider back in the 80’s.
