Alabama followers include a large number of fans who are Crimson Tide basketball fans, but it is not likely that many will see the end of the Bama game against Cincinnati on Saturday. The battle of unbeatens in the Big East-Southeastern Conference Challenge has an unfortunate tipoff time.

As Alabama and Georgia prepare for Saturday’s Southeastern Conference Championship Game in Atlanta, for some reason, much more has been made of Alabama’s one loss than has been made of Georgia being beaten once this season. In fact, there has been more talk about the Crimson Tide’s one loss in 2011 than about the defeat suffered by the Bulldogs.

One of the most important facets of the upcoming SEC Championship Game will be the Alabama running game. More specifically, if Georgia can slow down Alabama's two primary backs, Eddie Lacy and T. J. Yeldon, and get the Bulldog defense off the field by denying long drives.
Pay particular attention to Alabama's line play in this video.
The SEC Championship game will give one team a birth in the BCS Championship game against Notre Dame. Will it be Alabama seeking its second consecutive title or will Georgia find a way to punch its ticket to the big dance.
