Video of Michael Snaer's 1,000th point as an FSU Seminole. Sitting at 999 he had an opportunity to hit 1,000 with a free throw, but he missed. There was a lane violation, however, and he got another chance. The third leading FT shooter in the ACC missed again. So it goes.
Three Florida State pitchers shut out Maine for nine innings Friday at Dick Howser Stadium in a 6-0 win. Seth Miller delivered the big blow for the Seminoles, driving in three runs with a based-loaded triple.

After postponing Saturday's affair due to terrible weather in Tallahassee, Florida State jumped on visiting Maine very early in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader and never stopped.
On Senior Day at the Tucker Center, Florida State avenged a terrible defeat at Clemson earlier in the season with an 80-72 win over the Tigers. Bernard James posted yet another double-double.
Tigers fall to 16-14 overall and 8-8 in the ACC after an 80-72 loss at No. 22 Florida State.
