A busy sports day in Detroit just got a busier as fans learned a valuable lesson of NEVER trusting what a general manager has to say.
Hours after Dave Dombrowski made it look as though Detroit wasn’t on the verge of any blockbuster deals or addressing an impending short stop dilemma, the Tigers did a total 180. According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com, the Tigers sent outfielder Avisail Garcia to the Chicago White Sox in a three team deal that sent Jake Peavy to the Red Sox and Boston shortstop Jose Iglesias back to Detroit.
Three-way, as first reported by @WEEI, surely will have more names involved than Peavy, Iglesias and A. Garcia.

In addition to Garcia the Tigers also parted with pitcher Brayan Villarreal who will be making his way to the Red Sox.
