NFL Trade Rumors:
Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean suggests that the Titans are unlikely to sign free agent DE John Abraham, despite the fact that they’ve considering the idea of adding him for a few weeks now.
“All those clamoring for a John Abraham signing should brace themselves for disappointment,” tweets Wyatt. “The money Dwight Freeney got didn’t help things.“
Freeney signed a two-year deal with the Chargers, but the only reason they had any interest was because Melvin Ingram suffered a serious knee injury. The Titans currently have Kamerion Wimbley and Derrick Morgan manning their starting end spots, which means Abraham would most likely be relegated to playing the role of a situational pass rusher for them next season.
Tennessee currently has close to $6 million in cap space to work with, but have yet to sign a single draft pick, so it’s not likely they would commit much in terms of salary to a guy who would only be on the field in certain situations.
Abraham, 34, has found very little interest si...

ATLANTA For months, it seems, the Falcons have tip-toed around the issue of a contract extension for quarterback Matt Ryan.
Back in March, following the Falcons' big spending spree on Tony Gonzalez, William Moore, Sam Baker, Steven Jackson and Osi Umenyiora, there was a sense that Ryan was next.
Even before that, the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens awarded quarterback...
Over the last few years the word “elite” seems to define an NFL quarterback.
What makes a quarterback elite?
It does not seem there are predetermined factors that allow us to give that title to a player.
Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons is one of the best young quarterbacks in the game, elite or not.
While he might not be elite, to those imaginary standards, Ryan has more...
Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank told Albert Breer of the NFL Network that he would like to sign Matt Ryan to an extension as soon as possible. Asked Blank if he’d like to get something done with Ryan before camp, he said he’d like it as soon as possible. — Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) May 21, 2013 The Falcons would be smart to get a deal done before this season. If they...
The Atlanta Falcons and tight end Levine Toilolo have agreed to a four-year deal. Weighing in at a mammoth 6-8/260, the 2013 NFL draft pick will be under the tutelage of veteran Tony Gonzalez. Expect him to make more of an impact in the protection side of things with the increase in his offensive role coming in the later part of this year or more likely in 2014.

Jake Locker believes the best way to be a leader is by doing, not talking. It's why the Titans quarterback worked so hard on his recovery from offseason shoulder surgery to be ready for the team's offseason program.
So when the Titans start their organized team activities next week, Locker will be ready to throw without limitations.
Locker said Tuesday he is exactly where...
Their favorite team is the Atlanta Falcons.
Like many eighth graders in Atlanta, they relish the opportunity to go to games and dream of what it would be like to play on the turf of the Georgia Dome.
The difference between Dorian, DJ and the average eighth grader,is that they are doing something about it.

I hear this isn’t as uncommon as you might think. Apartment complexes sometime hire shady people and those shady people in turn do things like Corey Dajohn Moody.
According to policem courtesy of AJC.com Moody worked at the Preserve at Mill Creek apartment complex where Julio Jones and former Falcons Christopher Owens lived.
Moody stole two rent checks one for $1500 from Jones...
The Atlanta Falcons are ditching the Georgia Dome for some new digs.
NFL owners approved a $200 million loan for the Falcons to build a new stadium on Tuesday in Boston. The Falcons expect design and construction of the new facility to take four years. They expect the stadium to open for the 2017 season.
The multipurpose stadium could cost as much as $1 billion to build. Owner Arthur...
Julio Jones and Chris Owens are in the news. They didn't do anything on or off the field that warrants any negative attention.
A 29 year-old Norcross, GA man named Corey Dajohn Moody is a different case altogether.

How can you not like the Atlanta Falcons’ chances again in the NFC South? How can the Falcons not be worried about the fact they are on the cusp and continually fall short of getting back to the Super Bowl. How can the team that looks like it could be the “Greatest Show on Turf” in this day and age, misfire when it comes to the playoffs and now that it seems the Saints are...
Falcons owner Arthur Blank told reporters that he would like to get an extension in place for QB Matt Ryan as soon as possible, per Albert Breer.
Blank added that talks are currently in a “good place.” He wouldn’t offer up a timetable as to when a deal could be in place, but he did mention that they would like it done in the “not too distant future.“
Now that Joe Flacco...
