Whenever the Fighting Illini search for a new head football coach, they invariably are attracted to one or more coaches with an Ohio background. No wonder, given all the talent in the state and all the top coaches produced there. One of the latest to attract major college interest is Toledo's Tim Beckman, who has enjoyed success both as a head coach and a recruiter.
