Trevor Booker is looking to emerge in the Washington Wizards' frontcourt this season and vows his free agency status next summer will not negatively impact him on the court. “Just try to block it out and play my game,” Booker said. “Just go out there and do what they want me to do. My jumper is looking a lot better. My confidence is high right now.” Booker dealt with injuries a season ago and became frustrated, complained about minutes and was the subject of trade rumors. “I was injured for half of the year and when I came back, I wasn’t in the best shape. So I really couldn’t play like myself,” Booker said. “This year, I feel a lot better. I’m in good shape right now, looking to get in great shape and play my game.”
