Trey Lyles, a five star forward from Indianapolis, IN., was one of two recruits who took official visits to Louisville over the weekend. Lyles, a 6-foot-10, 245-pound, prospect has been Rick Pitino’s top target for the past two months. According to his Twitter account, Lyles enjoyed his time in Louisville this weekend. Lyles trimmed his list to four over the summer. He’ll eventually decide between Louisville, Kentucky, Butler and Florida. Louisville and Kentucky appear to be the two favorites. Lyles will travel to Florida for his official visit on Oct. 5 and he’ll be a Kentucky for an official on Oct. 17. Most top ten recruits usually wait it out until the spring before making a decision, but Lyles has decided to take a different route and says he’ll sign in the fall. Hopefully his visit to Louisville this weekend can give Rick Pitino a slight edge.
