Reports emerged out of Auburn, Alabama last night that former football players Ed Christian and Ladarious Phillips had been fatally shot and current player Eric Mack had been wounded. Auburn Police Chief Tommy Dawson would not confirm any details last night and has scheduled a press conference for this morning.
Eric Mack said the following through his Twitter account, “I appreciate all the love and prayers for me and two lost homies. May god be with their families.” AL.com is reporting that a source has said “[Mack] will be all right.”
The incident is said to have occurred after several men had an argument at the University Heights apartment complex. One or two of the began shooting at any one he could. The shooters have no association with the football program, according to a source.
Ladarious Phillips left the program in March for personal reasons and Ed Christian left early in his career with medical issues. Eric Mack is a sophomore offensive lineman and still listed on the Aubur...

Auburn, AL (Sports Network) - Auburn football player Eric Mack was wounded in a shooting near campus on Saturday night.
According to the Auburn police department, Mack was among six victims in the shooting. Three of the victims, including two former Auburn football players, died.
