When one looks at the Green Bay Packers offense, they see receivers get open from short to intermediate, but the deep ball is much rarer. James Jones, Jordy Nelson, and Randall Cobb are great possession receiver that can get yards after the catch, however, that could change with the addition of Louisiana Tech receiver Myles White. White ran a 4.2 40 at the Louisiana pro-day and it was enough for the team to sign him as an undrafted free agent. White believes he can become the deep threat the Packers need to open up their mid range passing game. The departure of Greg Jennings leaves an opening for a receiver to grab the role, and White intends on being that guy. "I looked at the Packers' roster and they have a lot of big-guy, possession receivers," White said, via Tyler Dunne of JSOline.com. "I think I can go in there and be a burner, a guy who can flip the defense and catch 50-yard bombs. That's what I've done my whole career. "It's just a great situation. You've got a quarterback who's the best in the league. (Running back) Eddie Lacy just came in. A great defense. I want to be a part of that greatness." "When I talked to the scout I had, that's what they hinted toward," White said. "They want a speed guy who can get deep. I think that I can do that. I know they brought in two guys in the draft who can do that as well. So it's just about who really can do it." "I'm hoping to perform well," White said, "and make the coaches have to play me and get into a situation where I can be a part of a Super Bowl-winning effort."
