Valencia in bid for Javier Hernandez - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has been attracting interest from La Liga side Valencia.
However, with the future of England forward Wayne Rooney still in doubt, Hernandez won’t make any decisions on leaving the side until it’s settled.
Valencia missed out on a Champions League place last season, and look set to lose their top goalscorer Roberto Soldado to Tottenham Hotspur this summer. They are said to be eyeing up Hernandez as a potential replacement.
There has been no word from the Manchester United camp to suggest they would consider any offers for the Mexican international, but the 25-year old has made it clear he’s frustrated with still being a bit-part player for the Premier League champions after three years.
Nicknamed Chicharito, he signed for the Red Devils in 2010. He’s gone on to make 117 appearances, scoring 50 goals. For Mexico, he’s scored 35 goals in 53 games.
