PHILADELPHIA, PA – Chip Kelly was about as noncommittal as possible when it came to discussing Michael Vick’s status Sunday. He referred to his starting quarterback as “day-to-day” after he left Sunday’s game in the second quarter and failed to return. An MRI Monday morning revealed a pulled hamstring. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is already indicating […]

While it would take an 'unbelievable performance' for Nick Foles to unseat Michael Vick as the Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback, Chip Kelly did rule out eventually making a change. Photo: Philaphans.com
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly was quick to squelch a quarterback competition before it began following Sunday's 36-21 win over the New York Giants...
It is no secret that the Desean Jackson is fast, but in an interview with the PhillyMag he made sure to let Revis and the Bucs know. “I’m definitely sure his coaches are confident in him, but I don’t think he can run with me, I don’t think he’s as fast as me,” Jackson said […]
According to Michael David Smith of Profootballtalk.com, Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick is expected to miss a week after sustaining a hamstring injury on Sunday. Vick grabbed his hamstring scrambling out of the pocket and pulled up in pain at the end of the run.
From the first week of the 2013 NFL regular season, many pundits speculated how long it would be before Michael Vick started missing games for the Philadelphia Eagles with the number of hits he receives in Chip Kelly’s offense. Vick left Sunday’s game before halftime and never returned. Vick was replaced by Nick Foles in the offense after suffering a hamstring injury. Beat writer...
DeSean Jackson threw down the gauntlet Tuesday in advance of his one-on-one matchup with Darrelle Revis in Sunday's game in Tampa Bay.
In a game with many interesting subplots already, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson pinned some extra bulletin board material for Darrelle Revis ahead of Sunday's showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Despite going up against Darrelle Revis this Sunday, DeSean Jackson isn’t worried because he believes he can outrun the Bucs number one corner (Credit: AP Photo) On Sunday, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson will be covered by Tampa Bay Buccaneers corner Darrelle Revis. Damn. Don’t hold anything back Lesean. Philadelphia Eagles running back Lesean McCoy responded to a tweet by ESPN’s Skip Bayless attacking fellow 2009 draftee Knowshon Moreno.
Bayless’ tweet complimented Moreno’s 93 yard, 1 touchdown performance in a 51-48 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
“Peyton is doing Peyton always does. But Knowshon is KILLING the Cowboys.”
It really won’t be news until we get an official confirmation from Chip Kelly, but it looks like Nick Foles will get his shot to run the Eagles read option offense.
Adam Schefter is reporting that Vick is likely to be out.

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy apparently thinks very little of Knowshon Moreno’s abilities as a running back. During the Denver Broncos’ game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, McCoy responded to a tweet from ESPN resident idiot Skip Bayless praising Knowshon by saying the Broncos running back sucks. Knowshon sucks RT @RealSkipBayless: Peyton is […]
Eagles 36, Giants 21, Sunday, October 6, 2013
Not only did the Eagles manage a win Sunday, they’re now officially leading the sorry-ass NFC East…with a losing record. This is definitely karmic payback for all the smack I talked about the NFC West in 2010. The Eagles are the best of the worst (at least temporarily)! Yay?

Six for Sunday Eagles keys to the game
I need to apologize to not only the Eagles organization but also the die-hard Philly fan base everywhere, because I had this game as a stone-cold lock for the Giants...
But the Eagles came up with a total team effort--- including 5-for-5 field goals made by Alex Henery--- and a resilience on both offense and defense we hadn't seen since the opener in Washington.
