North Carolina shows off white helmet
It is that time of the year again in college football. Without games to look forward to all we have leading up to the NFL Draft are uniform news and rumors. This morning I was made aware of a couple of helmet designs that caught my eye. One I like, the other I am reluctant to accept overall.

GAINESVILLE – Guard Mike Rosario transferred to Florida with a reputation as a shooter. And while he's not likely to shed that anytime soon with the scoring boost he provides off the bench, the former Rutgers star has been making an impact in other ways lately.

Kentucky prepares to take on the Florida Gators. The Gators, featuring Kenny Boynton (pictured), lead the nation in 3-point goals per game at 10.5.
Patric Young has been slowed. Whether it’s the ankle injury that has plagued him in SEC play or the grind of the long season, the sophomore center is averaging just 3.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in the last two games. That will have to change on Tuesday for Florida to pull out a win at Rupp Arena. It will also come against Anthony Davis, one of the toughest big men in the country.
GAINESVILLE – In South Carolina's Damontre Harris, Florida faced a good shot blocker. At Ohio State and Syracuse, it played in tough road environments. In back-to-back games vs. Mississippi State and Ole Miss, it faced big frontcourts.
