Before the Missouri Tigers take the field for home games, they are introduced with a “Welcome to the Zou” video. The footage usually includes clips of great plays from past seasons and music, but this year is different.
This season’s version features many former Mizzou and current NFL greats welcoming the new batch of Tigers into the stadium and talking about the tradition of Missouri football. Unfortunately, they had to cut the length down, so the “Welcome to the place that owns the border” portion had to be taken out. Mizzou fans – try watching this without getting goosebumps:

In 2012, Missouri unveiled a new uniform design with numerous combinations ahead of its inaugural season in the SEC. This year, while the program seems to be sticking with the Nike Pro Combat series, it appears there will be at least one new color combination – anthracite and gold.

Last Saturday, the Missouri Tigers tallied a whopping 358 rushing yards for 694 total yards of offense against the Murray State Racers. Mizzou averaged just 138.5 rushing yards per game last year. He had scored only his second career touchdown, but there was no need for theatrics -- his first score had come just three minutes earlier.

On Saturday the Missouri Tigers (2-0) defeated the visiting Toledo Rockets (0-2) by the final score of 38-23 before a crowd of over 56,000 in a hard fought game at the Zou.
