Why do we watch Nascar? Obviously for the crashes. Mike Conway and Will Power provided us with a pretty spectacular crash at the Indy 500 today. They were both okay and random car parts flew into the air. Dario Franchitti ended up winning the 2012 Indy 500 for a third time which is an impressive feat. Two years ago Mike Conway suffered severe injuries after a last lap accident in the Indianapolis 500. Conway's No. 24 Dads Root Beer Honda got airborne after running over Ryan Hunter-Reay's rear tire. While airborne, Conway's machine went chassis first into the fence in Turn 3 and the impact cut his car in half.
