Found April 23, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:

According to Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500 Twin Cities, the Vikings could place RB Toby Gerhart could trading block “once injuries start hitting in camp.” Pelissero adds that this may come down to whether or not the Vikings are willing to give him an increased role at some point in the future. Gerhart, 26, is entering the final year of his rookie contract, so Minnesota could always allow him to depart next offseason and wait for compensatory pick in 2015. Still, it’s doubtful that they would receive any more than a fifth-round pick comp pick if he were to sign elsewhere. Adrian Peterson is coming off of an incredible season and has shown no signs of slowing down, despite the fact that he’s currently 28-years-old. The Vikings may want to reduce his load some in the next few years to prolong his career as much as possible, but Peterson appears to be more than capable of shouldering the load, even after a serious knee injury. Are the Numbers on the New Vikings Uniforms Little Horns or Ship Sails?

After the big, premature and accidental release (I promise this never happens!) of the Minnesota Vikings new uniforms yesterday, many pairs of eagle eyes took note of the new number font that appeared on the jerseys. These numbers had some serif, pointy sharpies on the ends of the numbers, but really only on the right side of each number, or at least, the first number appearing. ...

The NFL and the casual fan relationship

I’ll admit it, when it comes to the NFL, I am a pretty casual fan.  Being a Minnesota Vikings fan will do that to a person.  It wasn’t always this way, I remember as a kid re-enacting spin moves out in the yard and diving to catch passes I threw to myself all while wearing my #20 Darrin Nelson jersey.  But this isn’t about how the Vikings have torn my heart out so many times...
