Junior Kayla Alf-Huynh and sophomore Rachel Ranson posted third-place finishes in the 50 free and 200 free, respectively, and the Green Wave relay teams followed suit with third-place showings in the 200 and 400 free team events, but it was not enough as the Tulane University women's swimming and diving team fell short in a triple-dual meet over the weekend at the University of Houston's Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.

The Tulane women's tennis team returns to action this Sunday and will attempt to remain perfect on the season when the Green Wave hosts a doubleheader at the Goldering Tennis Center against Xavier (La.) at 9 a.m. and Southern at 3 p.m. There is no charge for admission and hot dogs will be grilled and served free of charge to all fans. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
The Tulane University women's basketball will look to extend its two-game winning streak and do so before a national audience when the Green Wave take on Conference USA foe Marshall on Sunday, Jan. 29, in Fogelman Arena. Tipoff is slated for 11 a.m. and the game will be televised lived nationally on the Fox Sports Network.
