Sportsday:
Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware did not have a sack in Sunday's win against Philadelphia, but his pass rush helped prevent a touchdown in the second quarter.
Operating from the Cowboys 35, Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb tried to get a deep ball to wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, who had pulled away from cornerback Mike Jenkins and safety Ken Hamin. Ware hit McNabb's arm just as he delivered the ball, and the pass fluttered short of Maclin, open in the end zone. The Eagles settled for a field goal on the possession.
``There were opportunities in the game where I could have connected with him (Maclin) or connected with DeSean (Jackson), but it goes back to that one play,'' McNabb said.
