Amar’e Stoudemire continues to impress coming off the bench for the New York Knicks. His play along with J.R. Smith has made the Knicks second unit amongst the top in the league. STAT, as he was commonly called during his younger years in the league, seems to be making a resurgence lately with his powerful dunks and explosive plays. Tonight was another example of Stoudemire’s improved explosiveness that many thought had been declining for the last couple years. Stoudemire’s second quarter dunk was off an entry pass in which he got around his defender and flushed home the powerful dunk.
