One of the biggest upsets during the opening week at the 2013 Wimbledon tournament was Maria Sharapova‘s upset loss to the 131st ranked player Portugal’s Michelle Larcher de Brito 6-3, 6-4.
One of the biggest complaints among competitors was the slippery grass in the opening rounds. Sharapova was a victim of the conditions, slipping a few times on the grass courts and having to seek medical attention from a trainer in the second set.
ESPN highlighted some of her falls in the video above and I gotta be honest, its kind of hot.
Hot? Oh, yes.
