Red Bull Racing has announced that Australian Formula One driver Mark Webber has extended his contract by a year through the 2013 season.
The 35-year-old Webber won the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Sunday and has nine GP wins since signing with Red Bull in 2007.
Webber says he's comfortable with the team and ''it feels like absolutely the right thing to stay with Red Bull for another season.''
The contract extension confirms the team's 2013 drivers' lineup with world champion Sebastian Vettel also signed until 2013.
Webber is second in the standings, 13 behind leader Fernando Alonso of Ferrari.
