Originally posted on Punch Drunk Wonderland. Week 11 is on the horizon and so are the fantasy playoffs. There were some key injuries in Week 10 that means there could be some good options out there on the waiver wire. Plus some familiar names will be returning soon and should be grabbed if they’re available. Here’s a look at players to target on the Week 11 waiver wire. E.J. Manuel (QB, Bills) Week 10 saw Manuel’s return from a knee injury. He had a mediocre performance, but Manuel has a good deal of upside. His ability to both pass and run give him some added fantasy value. He’s worth keeping an eye on, and could be of use if you need QB help down the stretch. Brian Leonard/Bobby Rainey (RB, Bucs) Recently a Brown, Rainey has stepped into a nice situation in Tampa Bay. With Doug Martin and now Mike James injured, the running responsibilities will fall on Rainey and Brian Leonard. Leonard stands to see more touches, but Rainey could be the TD guy. It’s worth watching, and one of the...

Ben Roethlisberger says Buffalo Bills have a good one in EJ Manuel

The Buffalo Bills fans were upset with how EJ Manuel played this week, but one person besides myself felt EJ was decent for what he was dealt. “Any time that they can get pressure on quarterbacks, especially young ones, it helps you for the rest of the day,” said Roethlisberger. ”Give them and Coach LeBeau […]

Bills Stevie Johnson frustrated after latest debacle

For some reason the Bills cannot get it right for extended periods of time. With the return of starting quarterback EJ Manuel, the Bills were poised to walk away with a signature win against a reeling Pittsburgh Steelers group. That did not happen as Steel City not only won the game, but did so 23-10, placing a black eye on Buffalo’s dreams of producing an explosive offense....

QB Manuel comes undone with faulty footwork

EJ Manuel saw almost nothing but black and gold when he dropped back to pass on Sunday. The Buffalo Bills’ rookie quarterback was no match for coaching wizard Dick LeBeau and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense. The Bills’ 23-10 loss to the Steelers was Manuel’s worst showing in six starts this season and was more lopsided than the final score indicated. During the first...

QB EJ Manuel active and will start for Bills

Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback EJ Manuel is active and will start Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Manuel hasn't played since spraining his right knee against Cleveland on Oct. 3. Rookie Jeff Tuel, who started last week's 23-13 loss to Kansas City, is among the seven inactive players for Buffalo. The Bills also have made wide receiver Robert Woods, cornerback Justin...

fansided.com Bills #1 receiver is frustrated. Can you blame him? After the lackluster performance of the offense in the 23-10 loss to Pittsburgh Sunday, nobody could blame him for being frustrated. Buffalo Bills Called NFL to Complain Because Their Schedule Is Unfair

Quick, call the wahmbulance, the Buffalo Bills have a complaint. The Bills are just 3-7 this season, losing three straight and five of their last six games, and have suffered through a string of bad luck. They’ve started three different players at quarterback this season, even losing first-round pick EJ Manuel for a month during their drought. Apparently the organization believes...

Buffalo Bills Week Ten Post-Game Report

Photo: buffalonews.com On a blustery cold day in Pittsburgh rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel made his return.  All be it a game he may not want to remember as he was constantly under duress and harassed by a blitz happy Steelers Defense.  Buffalo a team that averages nearly 150-yards per game on the ground was held to just 95, forcing Manuel to throw the ball far more than the game...

Steelers turn back clock to break out of funk

The ball was snapped and Jarvis Jones sprinted forward. A moment later, he was in the Buffalo Bills backfield. A split second after that, Buffalo quarterback E.J. Manuel tumbled meekly to the Heinz Field turf in apparent surrender. Jones stood up and walked back to the Pittsburgh Steelers huddle. No big celebration. No histrionics necessary. Instead, Jones was all business. The...

Bills Regression In Full Effect

After Sunday’s 23-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers the Buffalo Bills now are searching for answers to what ails them. The Steelers were coming off a demoralizing loss to the New England Patriots and what the Steelers were weakest in, run defense, was something the Bills just could not capitalize on. Instead the Bills regressed to a team that has not been seen all season. It started...

Post Mortem: Bills – Steelers

That’s what I get for having hope. The Buffalo Bills entered Sunday, a visit to Heinz Field to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on the slate, looking like the favorite based on recent play. Sixty minutes of blah and the Bills find themselves asking “just what the hell was that?” on their way to 3-7. Frankly, I was asking the same thing through much of the day, but the empty...

Pittsburgh Steelers Versus Buffalo Bills – Second Half Recap

By Matthew Marczi In a rare turn of events, the Pittsburgh Steelers found themselves with a 10-3 lead entering the second half. The Buffalo Bills made a bad decision to take the kick out of the end zone, but a personal foul on Jarvis Jones gave the Bills the ball on the 28. He got an earful from Mike Tomlin afterward. The Bills dropped the ball on first down, and on a second down...
