Week 9 Big Ten games underway

Week 9 is underway in the Big Ten with two games already in the books. The Illinois Fighting Illini jumped out to a 17-0 halftime lead en route to a 44-7 victory at home against Purdue. With the win Illinois improves to 5-3 on the season and 3-2 in Big Ten play with Purdue falling to 2-2 in the conference and 4-4 overall. In the other game Northwestern topped Indiana on the road 20-17 to improve to 6-2 on the season, 2-2 in the Big Ten.
