THE COUGARS WERE a sobering sight Saturday afternoon. After last week’s promising near-comeback at home against a superior UCLA team, the team seemed poised to carry that momentum over to the desert and give a struggling Arizona State all it could handle. Instead, they got burned, big time, leaving many asking where this team actually stands.

Sun Devils Dominate Cougars On Senior Day

Saturday's showdown with Washington State may have marked the final farewell for a number of Sun Devil seniors as Arizona State played its final home game of the season, but perhaps more importantly, it marked a much welcomed change as ASU snapped its four game losing streak, defeating the Cougars 46-7 and became bowl eligible for the second consecutive season.
