We start off this week’s show with the Smackdown brand and your announcers are Josh Mathews and Matt Striker. Match Number One: Sin Cara versus Drew McIntyre They lock up and Drew with a waist lock and he drops Cara on the mat. They lock up again and Cara goes to the turnbuckles and he arm drags Drew. Drew tries for a hip toss but Cara bounces off the ropes and hits an arm drag. Cara with another arm drag and then he drop kicks Drew to the floor. Cara with a pescado but Drew catches him and hits a shoulder breaker on the apron. Drew sends Cara back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Drew sends Cara into the corner and he kicks Cara and then he works on the injured arm and shoulder. Drew with an arm wringer and he gets a near fall. Drew with a key lock but Cara with punches. Drew sends Cara to the mat. Cara with kicks to Drew’s shoulder and Cara with a head scissors take down. Cara with an elbow and then he goes to the turnbuckles and tries for a rana but Drew holds on and hits a...

Stars sign Jordie Benn to 1-year contract

DALLAS (AP) -- The Dallas Stars signed Jordie Benn to a one-year contract Wednesday. Financial terms weren't disclosed. The 24-year-old Benn, the older brother of Stars forward Jamie Benn, had two assists in three games for Dallas last season. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound defenseman had nine goals and 23 assists last two season with the Texas Stars in the American Hockey League.
