After an exciting comeback win last night the Yankees look to win their third straight, as Phil Hughes takes the mound with hopes of regaining the form he had before his most recent start. In his four starts leading up to his last one at KC, Hughes had given up a combined six earned runs. In just 5.2 innings, he matched that run total, even though he registered the win. David Adams will be making his long awaited major league debut tonight, after being called up today on his birthday; Chris Nelson was let go to make room on the roster. Jesus Montero is in the lineup for the Mariners along with Raul Ibanez – they hit back-to-back. Here are the lineups: Seattle Mariners (18-21) Michael Saunders CF Dustin Ackley 2B Kyle Seager 3B Kendrys Morales DH Mike Morse RF Justin Smoak 1B Raul Ibanez LF Jesus Montero C Brendan Ryan SS RHP Hisashi Iwakuma (4-1, 1.74 ERA) New York Yankees (25-14) Brett Gardner CF Robinson Cano 2B Vernon Wells DH Curtis Granderson LF Lyle Overbay 1B David Adams 3B Ichiro Suzuki RF Chris Stewart C Alberto Gonzalez SS RHP Phil Hughes (2-2, 4.43 ERA) Game Time: 7:05 pm EST – Yankee Stadium – Bronx, NY TV: YES Network Radio: WCBS 880, WADO 1280 Weather: 65°F, chance of thunderstorms
