MUNICH, Feb 18. –  It was the slap heard around the world. In a moment straight out of a straight-to-DVD-movie, Derek Chisora slapped the spit out of heavyweight champ Vitali Klitschko’s mouth at weigh-ins yesterday.

Chisora got his desired result as the Englishmen’s actions now have the world talking about a fight that nobody cared about outside of the sport’s enthusiasts.

The problem is that despite being younger that Kiltschko, Chisora is considered to be seriously in over his head in this match-up to begin with.

Now that he has gone and slapped the champ who to his credit remained somewhat calm afterwards, Chisora has perhaps written a check that his skills can’t cash.

Check out the video below. We will update the news area tonight with the end result.
