Carl Froch will defend his IBF and WBA world super-middleweight titles against former sparring partner and mandatory challenger George Groves later this year.
The all-British fight will take place in late November or December.
Froch says ''I'm excited, the first defense of both my belts is a big domestic clash,'' and adds ''I am a proper fighter and a proper champion and I will always face my mandatory challenger rather than vacate the title.''
The 36-year-old Froch won a unanimous decision over Mikkel Kessler in May to add the WBA championship to his IBF belt.
Groves says ''this is the biggest fight of my career and being a world champion is something that I dreamed of as a kid.''
