Tyson Fury calls Wladimir Klitschko's team 'cheats'

Handing Wladimir Klitschko his first loss in nearly a decade was reportedly no easy feat for Tyson Fury, who claims the former heavyweight champion's team tried to pull a couple fast ones on him.

The Associated Press reported Monday that Fury said that Klitschko's people made multiple attempts to derail him, including trying to drug him:

"I had good information off good resources not to touch anything in the changing rooms because they might try and drug you," Fury said on his return to Britain following his shock victory over Klitschko in Duesseldorf on Saturday.
"I went home dehydrated before I even touched anything. I was so frightened of being drug-tested and failing the drugs test."

The accusations don't stop there. Fury claimed that the Klitschko camp tried to foil him at the weigh-in and that he was "forced to wear gloves for the fight that didn't fit him," among other things::

"They are cheats, they are extremely good at cheating," Fury said, who won the WBA, IBF and WBO belts after a unanimous points decision.
"There were all these little things they thought might affect me, as it has with fighters in the past. But not one of them did."

Keep in mind, Fury isn't one to hold back his opinions, particularly about his opponents. The allegations against Klitschko come a day after Fury reportedly called fighter and countryman David Haye "a pretender" and "a fraud" for backing out of two previously scheduled fights with him. Fury said that Haye caused him "mental and physical torture," so the drugging claims don't appear to be too out-of-character.

Klitschko's people could not been reached for a response, The Guardian reported.
