LAS VEGAS - NOVEMBER 14: Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico looks on before taking on Manny Pacquiao during their WBO welterweight title fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on November 14, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images)

"Invincible men only exist in movies" - Pedro Diaz (Cotto's trainer)
I could've sworn I saw one standing across from his fighter last night in Fight City, Nevada.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. ran his record up to 43-0 last night inside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena with a unanimous decision (117-111 x 2, 118-110) over now former WBA Super Welterweight champion Miguel Cotto (37-3).
Cotto brought the volume but he couldn't match it with accuracy. That may have to do with the matrix like head movement of his opponent. From a bird eyes view it may have seemed to some that Cotto actually got the better of Mayweather last night in Vegas. He had "Money" against the ropes for the majority of the fight landing a plethora of body shots before, and after throwing at his opponent's head. The problem was that the shots to the head just weren't landing. Credit to Cotto, he brought the fight to Mayweather.
Making his walk to the ring with a entourage that would make Vincent Chase jealous (Justin Bieber, Triple H and his best friend 50 Cent), we we're reminded that Mayweather is not only the greatest boxer of our generation, he's also one of the great entertainers. So did he keep his promise by leaving the ring without granting Larry Merchant and interview after his victory? Of course not.
Floyd and Larry squashed their beef before the fight making sure that the fans got what they wanted after the final bell. So how did Mayweather vs. Merchant Round 2 play out? Hear what the Champ had to say about his upcoming jail stint, wanting to fight Pacquiao next and his thoughts on the Cotto fight along with a fight highlight video after the break.
