The days draw closer as the ‘Problem Child’ Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) gears up to make one of the worst decisions of his life by stepping inside the ring with ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ Mike Tyson (50-6-2, 44 KOs). While there have been polarizing opinions about the fight’s potential outcome, the boxing community, as a whole, certainly agrees that the fight will be risky for Paul. Furthermore, Tyson’s decision to turn him into “raw meat” adds to Paul’s worries.

Tyson was recently the guest in attendance at the latest episode of The Damon Elliott Show. In conversation, Elliott made it a point to warn Paul about his upcoming opponent. “Jake, I’ve known Mike since he smacked the sh*t out of me at 14 years old, and my face has never been the same,” he said.

Tyson, on the other hand, asked Paul not to let Elliott’s words affect him. In fact, he even pleaded with Paul not to back out from the fight. Meanwhile, Tyson revealed that he has changed his diet in preparation for the showdown.

“Raw meat. I’m going to have to eat it now because my opponent’s going to be raw meat,” he said. It sure looks like Tyson has issued an open threat to Paul with the ‘raw meat’ statement.

“I’m Just Getting To Eat As Much As Possible”

Tyson is not the only one who is looking to bulk up in preparation for the fight. In a recent episode of his podcast, Paul opened up about his plans to pack in the pounds to give him an advantage.

“I think just because normally I’m fighting at 200 and walking around at 210. It’s weird to me that I’m weighing 230,” he said. “But since this was noodling after my last fight, I’m just getting to eat as much as possible, and it turns out my body carries this weight super well.”

Paul further mentioned that he plans to get up to 240 pounds and then cut so his speed isn’t compromised. “My muscles are going to be so much stronger, and that speed will come through,” he said.
