Showtime Championship Boxing returns to Puerto Rico for a very interesting card featuring the rematch between Juan Manuel Lopez and Orlando Salido. And whether Lopez gets revenge or Salido further validates himself, the winner could very well be taking on Mikey Garcia, provided he gets by Bernabe Concepcion in the co-feature. Gus Johnson, Al Bernstein and Antonio Tarver make up the announce team on hand at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente.

We're getting right to it as Concepcion comes to the ring to "Eye of the Tiger." The 24-year old Filipino is 29-5 but only 2-3 in his last five fights. Garcia is the same age but has an undefeated 27-0 pro record and has knocked out 11 of his last 12 opponents.

The tale of the tape shows that Garcia has a two-inch height advantage and a similar edge in reach. Bernstein thinks that is signifcant because Mikey knows how to fight tall and use his length. The referee for tonight is Luis Pabon. Jimmy Lennon Jr. handles the fighter introductions, and we are ready to settle in for a scheduled 10 rounds of featherweight action.

Round 1

Concepcion tries to touch gloves but gets snubbed by Garcia. Concepcion leads off with jabs. Garcia takes his time and looks to counter, as is his nature. Lots of feeling out in the first half of this round. Short left hooks by Garcia. Mikey throws a couple of jabs and finally lets a few right hands go with them. Left hook by Concepcion late.

Tylwalk: 10-9 Garcia

Round 2

Garcia keeps his jab pumping but it's really just probing. Concepcion is either being extremely cautious or is unsure how to get inside. He tries a left hook that gets blocked. There's a nice one-two from Garcia. Another short right just misses landing flush. Garcia lands a left hook as Concepcion tries to duck his way in. Bearnabe almost finds the range on some power shots right before the bell.

Tylwalk: 10-9 Garcia
